Now that I got your attention, you will already know that going through any kind of conflict can be really challenging.

And, do you feel like where you want to be is unreachable? Especially when the voice in your head says - there’s no way you’re getting there, so don’t even bother trying.

When I went through my own separation, there were times when I felt so overwhelmed, and just got lost in all the emotions, decisions that were needing to be made paperwork, and I just couldn’t work out which way to go, or even know how I’d move forward. There will be times that you will feel like this too.

The best tip that I can offer you here comes in the shape of three words. Take a deep breath and take “one step forward”. Do not worry yourself about where you need to be headed, the destination. Do not worry about the long road ahead to reach your goal. It all starts with one step. One move. One action. One something.

Its like the saying goes - there is only one way to eat an elephant. One bite at a time.
